Former Banff Centre photographer Ernie Kroeger exhibits beetle prints

Kamloops This Week: “Looking more like an aboriginal painting, or palaeolithic cave drawing, Kamloops artist Ernie Kroeger’s large-scale print enlargements of pencil rubbings of pine beetle trails embedded in bark or wood reveal a startling world of complex patterns that are the basis of his show at the Kamloops Art Gallery titled Beetle Letters, which runs until May 28.”

Saying goodbye with his quartet on a high [Barry Shiffman]
